Being the most popular ingredient of beer in last years, hops hardly need any introduction at all. Hops are (for now still) the main flavour ingredient in beer. They are added to add bitterness, flavor, as well as aroma to the finished product. With the expansion of craft breweries, the importance of offering a broad pallet of hop varieties became increasingly important.
